Bottom line: Arc does not publish how it pays freelancers out. Ask before you take a contract.

Arc's terms confirm only the shape of it: "Freelancers are paid on a 'time' basis, meaning they are compensated for the time spent working on Freelance Jobs and approved expenses"; "All Freelancers are required to complete a tax form to receive payouts"; and "Arc is not responsible for any additional fees or charges that the Clients or Freelancers incur from their banks or financial institutions".
