There are no accounts, sign-ups, application forms or CV uploads on this site. When you apply for a job or join a platform, you do it on that company’s own site, under its own privacy policy — we never see what you send them.
We use two analytics services to understand how the site is used: which pages are read, how people arrive, and which listings get clicked.
_ga and _ga_…) that recognise a returning browser, and records the pages you view, the site that referred you, your device and browser type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. When you click an “Apply” button, we record which listing and which company you were sent to. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We keep this data for up to 14 months and do not use it for advertising.You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works the same either way.
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser sends its IP address to Google when a page loads.
We keep your email address and message only for as long as we need to answer you or act on what you reported, and we do not add you to any mailing list.
Google and Cloudflare process data on servers outside South Africa. We rely on their published data-protection terms for that processing.
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to hello@saremotejobs.co.za. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Regulator.
Listings link to employers and platforms we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own; read their policies before you share anything with them.
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves.
