Bottom line: No — Lemon.io does not currently accept people living in South Africa.
Lemon.io does not name Africa anywhere we could find, across three separate statements on their own site. Their homepage: “Hire experienced software developers from Europe, LatAm, the US, and Canada”, and separately, of their own sourcing engine: “continuously maps passive talent across North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia.” Their actual developer application flow at me.lemon.io repeats the same shape: “Get in front of funded startups and scale-ups across the US, Canada, and Europe.” None of the three is phrased as an exclusion list, and the regions named shift slightly between pages (LatAm and Asia appear inconsistently) - this reads as marketing copy rather than an enforced policy. But it is a consistent, repeated, first-party absence rather than a single line, and Africa never appears in any version of it.
