What You'll Do

Provide 1-on-1 telehealth/or onsite mental health support for Intellect's clients

Address a range of clinical cases, including depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, and more

Partner with our internal clinical team to improve the platform and client programs

Deliver CISP (Critical Incident Stress Programme) virtually or onsite as needed

Requirements

QualificationsMaster's degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology

Skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or other evidence-based approaches (e.g., Motivational Interviewing, DBT, SFBT) and CISP (Critical Incident Stress Program)

LicenseMust be registered in Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

ExperienceA minimum of 300 clinical hours post-master's degree

Experiencewith trauma-related cases in psychiatric hospitals, mental health clinics, or similar settings

LanguagesProficiency in English and Afrikaans

Preferred BackgroundPrior experience with EAP, adult counseling, or coaching managerial roles

FlexibilityOpenness to occasional onsite work, if necessary, is a plus
