Our client is a leading cryptocurrency tax software company that helps individuals and businesses simplify crypto tax reporting and reconciliation. Through innovative technology and automation, they make it easier for users to organize complex crypto transactions, prepare accurate tax records, and save significant time during tax season.

As demand for their premium reconciliation services continues to grow, they are seeking a Crypto Reconciliation Specialist to expand their "Done For You" reconciliation team and help manage increasing client volume, particularly during peak tax season.

Role Overview

The Crypto Reconciliation Specialist will be responsible for reviewing, organizing, and reconciling complex cryptocurrency transaction histories for clients. Working alongside a specialized reconciliation team, this individual will investigate wallet activity, DeFi transactions, blockchain records, and transaction discrepancies to produce accurate, tax-ready reconciliations.

The ideal candidate has experience working with cryptocurrency ecosystems, enjoys investigative problem-solving, and is comfortable leveraging AI-powered tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Role Responsibilities

Crypto Transaction Reconciliation

• Analyze and reconcile cryptocurrency transaction histories across multiple wallets and exchanges

• Investigate missing, duplicated, or unmatched blockchain transactions

• Review complex transaction flows involving transfers, swaps, staking, and DeFi activity

• Ensure reconciliations are accurate and tax-ready

• Resolve discrepancies using blockchain data and transaction records

Blockchain Research & Investigation

• Utilize blockchain explorers to verify transactions and wallet activity

• Research on-chain activity across multiple blockchain networks

• Analyze wallet histories and transaction relationships

• Assist with resolving reconciliation challenges involving decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols

AI-Assisted Workflow

• Leverage AI tools to improve reconciliation speed and accuracy

• Utilize internal AI-powered reconciliation systems to streamline workflows

• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through AI-assisted processes

• Work alongside evolving automation tools to support scalable reconciliation services

Client & Workflow Management

• Maintain accurate records of reconciliation progress

• Track client workflows and project status

• Update internal CRM and Kanban boards as required

• Collaborate with internal team members to resolve complex reconciliation cases

• Support increased workload during seasonal tax periods

Required Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in cryptocurrency operations, reconciliation, accounting, finance, blockchain analysis, or a related field

• Working knowledge of cryptocurrency wallets such as MetaMask

• Familiarity with DeFi protocols and decentralized finance transactions

• Experience using blockchain explorers such as:

• Etherscan

• SolScan

• Similar blockchain analysis tools

• Comfortable utilizing AI tools to improve productivity and workflow efficiency

• Strong analytical and investigative problem-solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with cryptocurrency tax preparation or reconciliation

• Familiarity with crypto accounting concepts and blockchain transaction analysis

• Experience working with AI-assisted development or productivity tools such as Claude Code

• Basic experience using Pipedrive CRM or similar Kanban-based workflow systems

• Understanding of cryptocurrency exchanges, staking, NFTs, liquidity pools, and cross-chain transactions
