Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day paralegal and administrative support to a transactional partner.
- Review, organize, and manage legal documents and supporting materials.
- Conduct detailed document dives to identify and retrieve relevant information.
- Organize files, records, correspondence, and matter-related documentation.
- Assist with preparing, compiling, formatting, and maintaining legal documents and paperwork.
- Review documents for completeness, consistency, and organizational accuracy.
- Track important information, outstanding documentation, deadlines, and follow-up items.
- Maintain organized digital files and ensure documents can be quickly located when needed.
- Assist the partner with research and information-gathering assignments as required.
- Summarize or organize findings from large sets of documents for attorney review.
- Handle sensitive and confidential client and legal information appropriately.
- Coordinate with attorneys and other members of the firm when necessary.
- Proactively identify missing information, inconsistencies, or outstanding action items.
- Provide additional legal and administrative support as the firm's needs evolve.
Qualifications & Skills
Required / Highly Preferred
- Previous experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or similar legal support professional.
- Experience working with a U.S.-based law firm, attorney, or legal department is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with U.S. legal terminology, processes, documentation, and professional standards.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong ability to work through large volumes of documents and identify relevant information.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong document management and administrative capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and maintain accuracy under deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
Nice-to-Have
- Previous experience supporting transactional attorneys or transactional legal matters.
- Experience conducting document reviews or managing document-heavy legal matters.
- Experience working directly with partners or senior attorneys.
- Familiarity with legal document management, practice management, or case management platforms.
- Experience working remotely for a U.S.-based legal team.
