We're looking for a

Senior Account Manager to own client relationships, delivery, and retention across a slate of accounts at a fast-moving B2B GTM content studio. You will be the person clients rely on from the day a deal is signed through renewal, and the person who holds the delivery team accountable to them.

You are measured on retention. The founder is currently in the middle of every client relationship — this role removes that ceiling. If you have owned accounts end to end, kept multi-workstream engagements on track with cross-functional teams, and can walk into a room with a senior marketing executive without a technical co-pilot, this role is a strong fit.

Why You'll Want to Join

You will be paid in USD (bi-monthly: every 15th and 30th)

Paid Time Off

in accordance with company policy

Observance of

Holidays per company guidelines

100% remote setup so you can work wherever you're most productive

This role requires availability during

US business hours

Work inside a results-accountable GTM content studio serving B2B companies from Series A through Series C

Senior client-facing role with real ownership over program delivery, client retention, and account growth

What You'll Work On

Client Relationship Ownership

Own every client relationship end to end from signature through renewal

Every client request routes through you — you are accountable for momentum, communication, and making sure nothing the client is waiting on quietly stalls

Build the case for continued engagement and conversion to recurring work from the beginning of every engagement, not in the last two weeks

Understand each client's business well enough to see what they should be doing next and say so before they ask

Retention and Conversion

Keeping the account is the job — retention is the primary metric this role is measured against

On fixed-term engagements, conversion to a recurring retainer is designed in from kickoff

Manage two types of accounts simultaneously: fixed-term research engagements that must convert to recurring work, and monthly retainer clients that must keep proving their value against the invoice

Cadence and Visible Progress

Run a weekly client call, weekly status update, and live tracker that is always current

Deliver a first progress update within the first few days of an engagement and get real work in front of the client by the end of week one

A client who does not know where things stand will assume the worst — your job is to make sure that never happens

Delivery Team Coordination

Each account runs as a small pod — a senior strategist owns technical strategy, a writer owns production, and you own everything in between

Chase down inputs the strategist needs including analytics access, source systems, and SME time before the client notices they are missing

Hold the delivery team accountable to timelines, quality standards, and client expectations

Nothing reaches a client without your review — you are the last read before work goes out, and you are expected to find the buried point, kill the generic opener, and flag any claim with no number behind it

Reporting and Narrative

Own what the numbers mean for each specific client and how they connect back to revenue

The strategist owns the measurement framework — you own the story it tells, and that story stays current all year, not just near renewal

Translate technical strategy and delivery into business language that resonates with a marketing exec

Risk and Escalation

Surface blockers and timeline risk the day you see them, not at the next scheduled check-in

Deliver bad news directly, challenge a client's plan when warranted, and operate as an advisor rather than a vendor

What You Bring

Proven end-to-end client relationship ownership with a track record previous clients can speak to by name and outcome

Experience running multi-workstream engagements with a cross-functional delivery team, and a clear record of being the one who kept the timeline honest

Ability to hold a room with senior executives without a technical co-pilot — comfortable delivering bad news, challenging a client's plan, and being treated as an advisor rather than a vendor

A specific account growth storythe largest account grown, from what number to what number, and the result that earned each step up

A client recovery storya client who was slipping, the first signal, and what happened in the 48 hours after that signal was spotted

Enough SEO and AI search optimization knowledge to hold a credible conversation with a marketing exec and translate technical strategy into business language without losing the thread

Operationally relentless — same-day recaps, live trackers, no dropped threads, and a standard the team can rely on without checking

Willingness to push back when something is wrong, including pushing back on leadership when the strategy needs to be challenged

Nice to Have

Experience building the process rather than only running it — a cadence structure, a handoff protocol, or a quarterly review motion that exists because of this person

Experience at an agency or professional services firm serving B2B accounts

Experience working inside AI tooling day to day with a clear view on which client touchpoints should stay human

Experience navigating a major platform or channel shift where the inherited playbook stopped working

How to Apply

Please include

Your

updated resume

A short Loom video (1 to 2 minutes) introducing yourself, describing your senior account management experience, and walking through a client you saved — the first signal they were slipping and what you did in the 48 hours after you saw it

Only candidates who submit a Loom video will be moved to the next step of the hiring process.

If you are a senior account manager who has owned relationships end to end, kept cross-functional delivery teams accountable, and can be the person a client credits when they renew, this role gives you the ownership and the direct impact to do your best work.
