About the Company
Our client is a full-service marketing agency built to support complex organizations at pivotal stages of growth. The agency works with both public and private companies, delivering integrated marketing solutions across corporate and digital platforms.
A significant portion of the work involves corporate communications for publicly listed companies, where design must communicate information clearly and effectively to investors and other sophisticated stakeholders. Projects span branding, logos, print collateral, websites, digital assets, and broader corporate communications.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Designer to serve as a cornerstone member of the agency's creative team.
This is not an execution-only design role . The ideal candidate must be able to receive a loose or high-level brief, understand the underlying communication objective, and independently determine the appropriate visual strategy, hierarchy, and layout.
The Senior Designer will help elevate the overall quality and strategic thinking behind the agency's creative work while also mentoring a junior designer and providing oversight across creative output.
The right candidate combines excellent hands-on design ability with the judgment and strategic thinking typically associated with a creative lead.
Strategic Design & Creative Direction
- Translate loose, high-level briefs into strategically relevant and polished visual solutions.
- Understand the communication objective behind each project before determining the visual approach.
- Develop design concepts without requiring highly detailed or prescriptive creative direction.

- Think critically about how design can strengthen corporate messaging and investor communications.
- Recommend layouts, concepts, and visual approaches based on the intended audience and business objective.
- Maintain a balance between creativity, clarity, professionalism, and strategic communication.

- Help establish and maintain a consistently high creative standard across the agency.
- Create sophisticated corporate communications for public and private companies.
- Design materials intended for investor and stakeholder audiences.

- Understand that investor-focused design often prioritizes clarity, credibility, hierarchy, and communication over purely conceptual creativity.
- Develop polished materials that reflect the standards expected of established and publicly listed organizations.
- Maintain consistency across corporate branding and communications.
- Develop logos, brand identities, and supporting visual systems.
- Translate company positioning and messaging into effective visual identities.
- Establish typography, color, layout, and other brand standards.
- Expand existing brand guidelines into new applications.
- Maintain brand consistency across print and digital touchpoints.
- Provide thoughtful recommendations when existing brand systems need refinement.
- Create website layouts and digital experiences that balance brand, usability, and business objectives.

Success in this role means becoming the creative team member who can be handed a business objective or loose brief and figure out what the design actually needs to be , rather than waiting for someone else to dictate the layout.
The Senior Designer should elevate the quality of the agency's creative output, introduce stronger strategic thinking into corporate communications, and help develop the junior designer into a more capable and independent creative professional.
Over time, this individual should become a trusted creative authority who can oversee quality while remaining hands-on enough to personally deliver exceptional branding, print, web, and corporate design work.
The ideal candidate sits somewhere between a highly experienced Senior Designer and a hands-on Creative Director .
They are not someone who needs to be "spoon-fed" a layout before beginning a project. They can take incomplete information, ask the right questions, understand the audience and objective, and determine how the information should be visually communicated.
They understand that designing for investors and corporate audiences requires more than making something attractive. It requires clear hierarchy, strategic thinking, credibility, restraint, and the ability to make complicated information easy to understand .
They are also comfortable serving as a creative leader: mentoring a junior designer, reviewing work, raising standards, and taking ownership of the overall quality of creative output.
